This is Madeline
Madeline Brown was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She began her dance journey at Incite Dance Center under the guidance of Kaitlin Webster. Growing up in the competitive dance world, she developed a passion not only for performing but also for mentoring younger dancers at her studio. Before graduating high school, Madeline assisted her instructors and led summer dance camps at Incite Dance Center, laying the foundation for her lifelong love of teaching.
After high school, Madeline went on to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance at the University of Arizona. During her collegiate training, she refined her jazz, modern, and ballet technique while deepening her understanding of artistry, character development, and performance quality. She trained under renowned faculty including Tamara Dyke-Compton, Gianni Howell, Samuel Watson, and Marquez Johnson. Through rigorous daily training and performance opportunities, she developed into a versatile and dynamic artist.
While earning her BFA, Madeline began teaching at Desert Dance Collective in Arizona. She instructed dancers ages 5–18 in lyrical, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and acro. She directed both the studio's youngest performance ensemble, the Green Team, and its elite Competition Team. The Green Team, made up of beginner dancers ages 5–11, regularly performed at local parades and community events. Today, Madeline continues to direct the Competition Team remotely while traveling to Arizona throughout the year. She oversees choreography, rehearsals, team communication, competition preparation, and convention training. Passionate about creating an encouraging environment, Madeline believes in a "dance for all" philosophy and strives to ensure every student feels supported, challenged, and inspired while having fun.
Since graduating, Madeline has performed professionally in Chicago, Atlanta, Boston, and Los Angeles. She is the Dance Coordinator for Nightshades, a professional rock band featuring backup dancers, where she choreographs and performs for live productions at venues including Six Flags Over Georgia and other regional events. Her career allows her to travel frequently for performance opportunities across the four major cities where she is based.
In addition to her dance career, Madeline has been modeling professionally for over four years. She is signed with The Rock Agency in Chicago, where her mother agent is Raquel Repka. She is also represented by Click Models in Atlanta, New England Models Group in Boston, D&A Models in Cape Town, and Evolve Models in Los Angeles. Throughout her career, she has worked in beauty, fashion, print, and runway and has collaborated with clients including Aveda, Reebok, The Paper Store, Merrell and many others.
Madeline has also discovered a passion for photography, specializing in live dance photography. She photographs dance recitals, studio performances, and company photoshoots, combining her unique perspective as both a professional dancer and model to capture movement with authenticity and artistry. She enjoys blending her expertise in dance and modeling behind the camera, creating images that celebrate athleticism, emotion, and performance.
