There she honed in on her jazz, modern, and ballet technique as well as learning more about character building and performance quality. She trained under Tamara Dyke-Compton, Gianni Howell, Samuel Watson, and Marquez Johnson. Through performing and daily classes she grew as a versatile dancer
While pursuing her BFA in dance Madeline taught at Desert Dance Collective for her three years in college. She taught ages 5 - 18 in the styles of lyrical, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and acro. She ran both the studios youngest performance team, the Green Team, as well as their most advanced team, the Competition Team. Madeline’s Green Team performed at local parades and community events.
